Acquisition Manager


Lead designer – Photobox UK

You will be responsible for the development and execution of both creative concepts and interaction design concepts for Photobox and Greetings by Photobox websites. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and demonstrate creative concepts that improve the overall user-journey and impacts overall site conversion rate
  • Perform maintenance and updates to the existing sites
  • Conceptualise and develop new parts of the website, including micro-sites, wire-frames, mock-ups and integrated marketing communications.
  • Assess new standards, technologies, trends and formulate strategies for future enhancements of web site.
  • Manage and execute final concept thru completion of project.
  • Manage a team and provide design inspiration.
  • Develop and define design standards in form of style guides.
  • Work with team to develop and create basic process flow, story boards, and sitemaps as required.
  • Ensure all content conforms to current European accessibility laws.
  • Collaborate with Design team in Corporate marketing and jointly develop guidelines and best  practise
  • Act as guardian of overall brand guidelines and ensure conformity through all creative assets and consumer touch-points

Job Requirements:

  1. Candidate should possess a Bachelor's Degree in web or graphic design or the equivalent experience.
  2. Must have a strong knowledge of user interface design principles, user experience, user-centreddesign process, interaction design guidelines, usability methodologies, industry standards & trends, and platform standards.
  3. Experience in hands-on creation of wire-frames, site-maps, user flow diagrams and PhotoShop mock-ups.
  4. Specific skills set required: HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash (Actionscript knowledge is a plus), Dreamweaver (hand code required), design, composition, colour theory, typographical theory, experience working with CMS, blog systems and understanding of emerging web 2.0 technologies.
  5. Must have some knowledge of print and packaging design.
  6. Candidate should be comfortable directing designers within the team on design, offering assistance with design, code and compatibility issues.
  7. Languages: English (French speaking would be a plus but not essential)
  8. At least 2 year(s) of work experience (or 5-10 years experience without a degree) in the related field.
  9. Candidate should present a comprehensive body of work, preferably online.

Product Marketing Executive – Photobox UK

  • The role of the UK Product Marketing Executive is to support the Senior Commercial Manager in the launch of our greetings card business in the UK and the achievement of all revenue goals. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the building of a new B2C2C business from the ground up. Based in London, the Product Marketing Executive will utilise their entrepreneurial skills, marketing and product development acumen, and strategic thinking to support the drive of the ‘greetings by photobox’ site business unit revenues and performance.

    We are looking for someone who will assist with the following:
  1. P&L responsibility - and communication of site strategy, performance and revenues.
  2. Community building – development and execution of community outreach programs.
  3. Product development – evolution of the product roadmap and achievement of key milestones to ensure continuous improvement of site awareness, traffic, sales, order value and conversion. 
  4. Management and monitoring of SEO through natural and paid search campaigns; optimization of conversions through search results.
  5. Co-ordination of online advertising and promo campaigns including creative work and on-site merchandising to ensure the delivery of all revenue goals schedule.
  6. Day-to-day management of site content, copy, promotions, images and relevant links

Job Requirements:

  • 4+ years of product management experience, ideally with an internet or software company with strong commercial emphasis
  • Experience in managing a content team and content management systems
  • Proven results in management and maximization of online marketing disciplines to increase traffic and conversions
  • Understanding of best practice in web customer experience, customer needs gathering and online merchandising
  • Outstanding analytical skills; creative thinker
  • Highly numerate with strength in data analysis and manipulation
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to build relationships internally and externally, interfacing at all levels

Acquisition Manager – Photobox UK

  • Overall Purpose of Role:
    To grow traffic to PhotoBox and affiliate sites primarily through digital marketing and achieve all new customer volume and CPA goals in the UK To support development and sharing of best practice across all acquisition channels within PhotoBox UK and other PhotoBox countries.

    Core Responsibilities
  1. Review and develop PhotoBox UK acquisition marketing strategy
  2. Lead all acquisition planning, target-setting and forecasting for PhotoBox UK
  3. Develop & execute UK acquisition initiatives, with the support of cross-functional teams
  4. Communicate progress and performance across UK departments & Corporate Marketing
  5. Drive deep understanding of acquisition marketing and related industry developments within PhotoBox UK
  6. Share best practice with other countries and colleagues
  7. Ensure target setting and forecasting are consistent with UK PhotoBox and Greetings by PhotoBox P&L
  8. Joint integrated planning with rest of UK Commercial team and functional leads

Qualifications & Personal Characteristics required:

  • Four to six years experience in an online marketing role, preferably search marketing
  • Deep understanding of Search Marketing including:
  • Advanced knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) techniques
  • Proven track record of results delivery and success through B2C SEM
  • Deep familiarity with UK & global search market and emerging trends/ technologies
  • Strong project management and coordination skills
  • High calibre strategy & analytics
  • One to three years people management / supervisory experience a plus
  • Superior leadership and influencing skills, including cross-department coordination and project management
  • Superior communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)
  • Intense customer focus
  • Personal fit: High energy, sense of humour, friendly/outgoing, team player
  • Proactive and goal-oriented; good at juggling multiple priorities and time management
